I finally changed over to PEI after a couple years with kapton tape and bought a sheet of the Gizmo Dorks PEI from amazon. A few others have done the same recently and posted on here that it visualy doesn't seem to actualy be PEI and instead looks like Polycarbonate or somthing else. I understand if I'm doing larger prints the more pads I would need to turn on, but if I'm doing a part smaller than 8x8", the entire bed being heated is immense overkill, correct? Once the new bed was wired in, I just laid the magnets in place, put a bit of superglue on the top of them, and aligned the new bed to them so that it was centered.
